Micheal Douglas on Stage-Four Cancer

for years, Micheal Douglas grace the limelight. He captivated many people’s’ heart now he is back with his latest film ” Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.” a sequel to his “Wall Street” in year 1987 which he won as best actor. It will be open this coming 24th of September, 2010.

Micheal Douglas, 65 is bringing with him a sad news alongside with his movie. Douglas talk about his disease in an exclusive interview with People magazine. He said he is beating a stage-four throat cancer, This is a shock to many and which is more difficult to accept for his family. During Douglas interview he and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones talk about how their children reacted over the news.

Douglas in his appearance Tuesday on David Letterman Show, briefly discuss about it too, and how he faces his eight week of struggle with radiation and chemotherapy. Letterman ask about Douglas lifestyle and he mention that his personal habits includes smoking and drinking alcohol. This increase the risk of developing a throat cancer. However, Douglas believe he had atleast 80% chance of recovering because the cancer remains above the neck.

Actually, It is quite a struggle to see one patient with cancer, but Douglas is optimistic, and clinging bravely. It seems that he is so much more vivacious and I believe that he can overcome the diagnosis.
