Supremacy of God Weakness of Human

God’s power exceeds our understanding and we can no longer comprehend it
because man’s knowledge is limited and God’s power is immeasurable. God’s power directs us of his greatness, mercy and love. But mostly people do not understand him. They get angry and begin to doubt and question him whenever things happen contrary to their will. God’s reputation always takes the beating and we might tend to overlook the fact that some of the things that happened might be our fault too.

It is true that we do not have power to prevent, or strength to remove things, that’s how powerful God is. Even if we put it out as far as we do. There are so much more things that people need to do, and we are lacking of knowledge to do it, and for that we need to understand our weakness and stop harboring hate to God.

Human weakness can be illustrated in the many ways. For instance, in the case of Titanic ship that surpassed all her rivals in luxury and opulence, and was considered the largest active ship in the world during its maiden voyage. This ship was designed by the most experience engineers and used some of the most advance technology available during that time.

Titanic ship sailed on April 15, 1912. It carries 2,223 passenger on board heading for New York City, This ship sank after hitting an iceberg, leaving 1,517 people dead and an average of 68.2% were lost or missing. It is really a great shock to many. Imagine the most prominent and riches people were on board, but money and even technology didn’t save the lives of those who died there. God just prove that he can sink the unsinkable.

Furthermore, On January 12, 2010 an earthquake struck Haiti with a magnitude of 7.0 leaving 230,000 people dead. Not so long ago, an earthquake with a 9.0 magnitude struck the coast of Sumaria leaving a death toll between 225,000 -275,000. There are many more disaster that take lives and the best scientist can not prevent it from happening even though they have studied it. It just help us to see that God is really powerful.

Additionally, There are incurable diseases that researchers haven’t found any cures such as Ebola virus, cancer, HIV/AIDS, acute lymphocytic leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia, adrenoleukodystrophy, Alzheimer’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, lou Gehring Disease, aspartylglucosaminuria, asthma, autosomal dominant polycystic, kidney disease, avian influenza, Bovine spongiform, Creutzwald Jakob disease, diabetes, dementia, emphysema, Huntington’s disease, myasthenia gravis, Parkinson’s disease, Schizophrenia, Lupus, and many more. Major deaths were caused by this diseases as well.

In spite of it all, we owe to a lot of our greatest researchers who are continuously studying, for us to better understand this diseases. But even if human knows it we can not stop people from dying, and that is the whole point in it. I’m a health care provider and I do believe in the power of God and in line with medicine, I know many health care professionals believe in his greatness too.

God really work in mysterious ways, If you will look closely at a cancer patient, some of them didn’t survive even if the best doctor treated them while some survive because it is not their time yet. They still have a mission to fulfill in this world. I know that this will make some of you raise eyebrow especially those who do not believe in God.

Unfortunately, God allows difficulties for a reason and we fail to see that it is actually a reminder for us. Moreover, things like war and famine was not allowed by God it is a by product of our own choices that leads to war and famine. In one word it is our “responsibility”.

Hopefully, I made a little bit of sense in letting you know that everything in this world is out of our control. It is in God’s hand and God’s time. but we need to know that we must not cover our own eyes with our own hands that some of the things that happened was our own choice because God has given us free will. Let us not find scapegoat and blame it all to God rather accept that there is no reason to doubt his supremacy and love for mankind. We need to live our life the best way as possible and trust that God can make the impossible things become possible.
